To get cited by ChatGPT, you have to be the clearest, most trusted source that directly answers the question. ChatGPT quotes pages that state the answer up front, back it with specifics, and are talked about elsewhere on the web, not the page that buries the answer under 1,000 words of intro.
ChatGPT pulls from pages that answer the question in plain words, near the top, with real detail behind it. Vague "ultimate guides" get skipped. Pages that say the answer in one or two sentences, then prove it, get quoted.
It also leans on sources that show up in more than one place. If your brand is named on Reddit, in roundups, and on your own clear pages, the model sees a pattern and trusts it.
Most pages get ignored because they answer slowly. The model cannot find a clean sentence to lift, so it quotes a competitor who said it plainly.
The other reason is silence off-site. If nobody else mentions your brand, the model has no reason to trust you as the source. That is why I work across Google, AI tools, and Reddit at the same time, not just your own pages.
Proof should sit near the claims it supports. These recommendations give buyers a clearer reason to trust the work.

If this guide matches the problem you are seeing, the service page is the next practical step.
ChatGPT search and most AI tools rely heavily on the same signals that rank pages in Google: clear answers, trusted sources, and brand mentions. Strong SEO and strong AI visibility move together, which is why I treat them as one job.
It depends on how much trust your brand already has. Clear, answer-first pages can get picked up fast. Building the off-site mentions that make the model trust you takes longer, usually a few months.
No honest consultant can guarantee a specific citation, the same way none can guarantee a #1 ranking. What I can do is make your pages the clearest answer and build the signals that make AI tools choose you.
Send the site, I review the issue, then I reply with the practical first step.
